Don’t worry, I wrote everything down so you know exactly what to do for the next one.
How to Throw a Caring Party
Step 1: Do research on the most needed items for people living on the streets
Did you know socks are the #1 most requested item among the homeless population in 2025?
Step 2: Go shopping for the items
Step 3: Send out invitations
Step 4: Use gallon zip lock bags as the package and fill them up with items
Step 5: Make cards with encouraging notes and handwritten love to put in the packages
Step 6: Include a list of local resources (if you are familiar with them)
Step 7: Send care packages home with everyone to leave in their cars
Step 8: When you are driving and see someone in need, hand them a care package
And that’s it!
In 8 steps you have officially created a caring party and spread love throughout the valley. Don’t forget to spread the word because a wise man once said,
“UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not. ”
